Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer

Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer

A long time ago I used to carry all my EDC items loose in my pockets. That ended up being a big hassle. Things got misplaced when transferring from one set of clothes to another. There also was a lot of wear and tear on both the items and the clothing. I tried several options before I found one I liked. Some ones I did not have luck with had only one interior pocket and no dividers. It was hard to not have all the small items fall out when you opened it. I tried some that had interior and exterior pockets. The proved to be very bulky. The Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer ended up being the closest to perfection as I have found.

The Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer is small enough to fit in a standard cargo pocket or large front pocket. The pull strap lets you get it out of the pocket easily and I have used it to clip the Micro to my belt if I did not have a pocket free. The front mesh pocket is not very useful to me, but could be used to house contact info in case it is lost. The interior space provides you lots of options. There is a large pocket on each side with elastic loops on front of it. The loops can be used for pens, small tools, fire starters, etc. The pockets hold a fairly thick set of items on each side before the zipper feels stressed. The right side has a loop where you could clip keys or such and the left side has the Maxpedition name tag sewn in. I even use that tag to hold a set up tweezers (Uncle Bills Sliver Gripper Tweezers).

Over all , this Micro works great to keep all my items organized and in one place. If I need to leave the items in the vehicle due to security at a building, then they are all ready to go as soon as I am back. I have carried this daily for at least 2 years and  it shows very little wear even though I probably have it too full. So take a look at this if you need an EDC kit or some additional organization in a current bag.
